Europa Dog Clipper Starts Quest to Jupiter's Icy Moon

.A SpaceX Falcon Heavy spacecraft lugging NASA's Europa Dog clipper space capsule lifts off from NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Monday, Oct. 14, 2024.Europa Clipper is the 1st mission created to conduct an in-depth research study of Jupiter's moon Europa to find out if it currently has habitable states. The spacecraft is going to travel 1.8 billion kilometers (2.9 billion km) to reach Jupiter in April 2030.
